VIPPY RESOURCES / APPLICATION LIBRARY

FROM INGREDIENT TO END USE

Choose soy by
what it must do.

Application-led guidance for feed formulators, food developers and industrial ingredient users.

THE APPLICATION LENS

Products do not
perform in isolation.

An ingredient must be evaluated inside a system: a feed ration, bakery recipe, extrusion process, hydration stage, emulsion or finished food.

This library therefore starts with the user's objective and works backwards toward the relevant ingredient architecture.

APPLICATION PATHWAYS

Five commercial
destinations.

01

Aquaculture

Nutrition, digestibility and feed-manufacturing considerations for aquatic species.

02

Poultry & Livestock

Protein contribution within broader animal nutrition programmes.

03

Bakery & Foods

Protein enrichment, formulation and physical behaviour.

04

Plant Protein

Texture, hydration and finished-product structure.

05

Functional Systems

Emulsification, wetting and dispersion requirements.

Nutrition must work
in the ration.

The ingredient question is not simply how much protein a material contains. Feed formulators assess nutrient contribution alongside the complete formulation, processing system and species requirements.

Product selection should therefore consider the applicable grade, specification, formulation objectives and local regulatory requirements.

02 / FOOD

Protein must work
in the recipe.

Food applications introduce additional questions around particle size, hydration, sensory characteristics, texture and process conditions.

Pilot trials remain the appropriate route for establishing performance in a specific recipe. Technical documentation should support—not replace—application validation.

Performance happens at
the interface.

Functional ingredients are selected according to what they must accomplish inside a formulation: stabilisation, dispersion, emulsification, texture or process support.
